Structurl.io and MTB Price Agent ("Structurl," "we," "us," "our") operates this site. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you visit mtbprice.com (the "Site").
Information We Collect
Analytics Data
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Site. GA4 collects anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, and general geographic region (country/city level). This data is collected via cookies and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to personally identifiable information through GA4.
Saved Collections
If you use the "Save" feature to create a collection of bikes, the selected bike IDs are stored in our database and associated with a randomly generated share ID (a 16-character string). No account creation, email address, or personal information is required or collected. The share link you receive is the only way to access or share your collection. We do not track which user created which collection.
Server Logs
Our hosting provider (Railway) maintains standard server access logs that include IP address, request timestamp, HTTP method, URL, and response code. These logs are used for security monitoring and debugging. They are not used for marketing and are retained for a limited period per Railway's infrastructure policies.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, or any other personally identifiable information. We do not require registration or login to use the Site.
Cookies
The Site uses the following cookies:
- Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid, _ga_*) — used to distinguish users and sessions for analytics purposes. These are persistent cookies set by Google.
- No first-party tracking cookies — we do not set any cookies ourselves for tracking, advertising, or personalization.

MTB Price Agent participates in affiliate marketing programs. When you click a "View Bike" link and make a purchase from a retailer, we may earn a commission. This is disclosed clearly on the Site.
When you click through to a retailer's website (The Pro's Closet, Competitive Cyclist, REI, Jenson USA, or others), you are leaving mtbprice.com and are subject to that retailer's own privacy policy and terms of service. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites.
Affiliate tracking is handled by third-party networks (AvantLink, Impact, and others). These networks may set their own cookies when you click an affiliate link. Their data practices are governed by their respective privacy policies.
How We Use Information
The limited data we collect is used solely to:
- Understand how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it
- Monitor for security issues and abuse
- Maintain saved collections you have created
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Retention
Google Analytics data is retained per Google's default retention settings (14 months for user-level data). Saved collection data is retained indefinitely until we implement a deletion mechanism. Server access logs are retained per Railway's infrastructure policies (typically 30 days).
Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
